Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream

I have never thought of reviewing a deodorant on my blog because it is generally a product that we don't pay too much attention to. But, I am so excited to share with you how fantastic this deodorant is. Not just sharing the information, I actually bought a few for my friends too, so they can try it for themselves. 

Drunk Elephant is still a new skincare brand. They pride themselves as a clean skincare brand, i.e. using minimal ingredients on the product and also mindful of its packaging materials. Because of their philosophy, I think it is worth it to try out the brand. If their product works, then I'll stick to it, and this deodorant will be one of them that I'll stick to for a long time.

Using a powerful blend of mandelic acid and absorbent arrowroot, Sweet Pitti eliminates even stubborn odor-causing bacteria while absorbing excess moisture from the skin. With its mix of calming, barrier-supportive ingredients and a replenishing mix of plant oils (marula, baobab, and mongongo seed), as well as marula and shea butter. Sweet Pitti replenishes dry, dull, and irritable skin too. 

Pros:

• Drunk Elephant is a green brand and the ingredients used in their product are safe and sustainable.
• Off-the-shelf deodorant is well-known for its bad ingredients that associated with cancer. By using this deodorant, you can have peace of mind. 

Cons:

• The packaging is not ideal. To retrieve the product, you have to twist the bottom of the stick where the product will be pushed out. If not careful, sometimes I dispose of too much product and it's a one-way system, I couldn't scoop back the additional product. If it is in a roller form or squeeze tube, I can definitely control the amount of product to use. 
• It doesn't smell good. In fact, it smells like those pest control beads. 

Although the packaging is not ideal and the not-so-pleasant smell, I can see past that because I know for sure it has safe ingredients and that is the most important thing for me. So far I have not found a substitute for this deodorant and I will be sticking to this for a while.
